20th December 2013. Ex member of the Canadian Parliament, Paul Hellyer made an astonishing statement. He claimed to have knowledge that extra-terrestrials were visiting the Earth. He claimed they had been doing so for thousands of years and that there is a federation of these people with rules.
The interview sent shockwaves through the media. Why would such a high level official make such a statement?
He first talked about this in 2005 but it was not until 2014 that his story went viral. But is it just a story? Hellyer states otherwise.
“That gave me the dubious distinction of being the first person of cabinet rank in the G8 group of countries who ever said categorically, without reservation, UFO’s are real. This is difficult territory, but I understand that there is a federation that is monitoring us closely and keeping tabs on us.”
Could there be any evidence to support these astonishing claims?
At Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland 1952, medical doctor and psychiatrist Andrija Puharich, oversees project penguin. It was a special laboratory where psychics and military personnel gathered to investigate psychological manipulation and hallucinogenic drugs. One of the most compelling and controversial aspects of Puharich’s research was channelling. It involved making contact with non-physical beings through the use of psychics. This was a serious scientific endeavour, no gimmicks were involved. He used the Farriday cage, a copper room that was specially insulated according to United States naval standards that would prohibit mid-level electro-magnetic waves and electro static. In this Farriday cage, individuals would allow the mind over matter signal to take place.
In December 1952, Puharich invited Hindu mystic and doctor, D.G. Vinod to one of these channelling sessions. During the experiment Vinod went into a deep trance and reportedly made contact with a group of entities called ‘The Nine’. They announced themselves as nine principles of the universe. They claimed they were forces from beyond. The Nine further revealed that they were an internal presence and that they had been watching humanity from the very beginning. The Nine came up with a number of different messages involving being the guardians of the human race, the creators even. This interested Puharich that they could conceivably be gods; he wanted to ask them for guidance. Puharich tried to communicate with a simple question:
“What is your name, who are you?”
“I am Atum” Came the reply.
Atum was the great father god of ancient Egypt and introducing not only the nine principles, but the nine great gods of the Ennead of ancient Egypt.
If Puharich had made contact with the so called nine great gods of Egypt, might it offer a clue to the long standing theory of an extra- terrestrial federation overseeing Earthly affairs? If so, who could these beings be?
Heliopolis in Cairo, known as the Sun City, is one of the oldest and most sacred sites of ancient Egypt. Although mostly destroyed, an obelisk remains, marking the spot where the temple of the sun god Atum once stood. Here, the ancient pharaohs would connect to the Ennead, a council of nine deities who were said to have brought technology and knowledge to Earth.
According to hieroglyphs, consultation with the Ennead was chief among the pharaoh’s duties and critical to the success of Egypt.
Heliopolis was the Vatican equivalent of ancient Egypt.
This was the house of the nine gods that governed and ruled from the sky. The Ennead started with the god Atum, the god of the solar disc, god Shu (god of the wind), goddess Tefnut (goddess of water), god Geb (god of the lambs), goddess Nut (Goddess of the sky), Isis (mother to all the kings), Osiris (god of good), Set (god of evil), and goddess Nephthys (goddess of death).
Everything in the Egyptian world revolved around these nine gods. The pharaohs of Egypt would have to consult with the nine gods on every aspect of life to make sure they were doing the right thing. The people would know that any word spoken from the king was the word of god. The Pharaoh was seen as the special emissary to the gods and therefore the gods could speak directly through the Pharaoh. A comparable can be made in the channelling conducted in more recent times.
Were the Ennead extra-terrestrials that came to administer and guide human affairs?
The pyramid texts tell us of a tomb that came from Sirius, a strange reference for the ancients to refer to.
Is it possible that Dr Puharich was one of a long line of initiates, like the Pharaohs, who were contacted by the Ennead? Perhaps these are the same entities that Paul Hellyer was referring to. Maybe more clues can be found in worldwide accounts of other councils of nine.
Every year during the ninth lunar month in South East Asia, thousands of people celebrate the nine emperor of god’s festival. This is a carnival type ritual that takes place for nine days. The point of the festival is to summon the very powerful nine emperor gods. They are seen as residing up in the skies. The nine sky lords are believed to have been the original rulers of China and the offspring of the supreme god of creation. They were alleged to have come from the nine star system ‘The big dipper’. Seven stars are visible while two remain hidden. They were tasked with controlling the universe and keeping order on Earth. The belief was that the supernatural world took on the shape of a bureaucratic empire, with a very detailed hierarchy with ranks and the ‘nine gods’ shown to be very high up in this bureaucracy. Some of the devotees channel and even embody the nine gods during the festival processions. There are nine spirit mediums that enter a trance and then channel these gods to keep them content. This is important as they control human destiny. At the end of the nine days as the festival ends, the gods return to the stars from whence they came.
This idea of nine gods watching over the world can be found all over the Earth.
The Aztecs were known to worship nine gods called the Lords of the Night. In the Norse tradition, nine gods survived the Ragnarok or Earthly destruction. According to Buddhist legend, the emperor consulted with the nine unknown men that were said to possess the knowledge of the universe.
The ancient Etruscans of Italy also believed in nine gods that could be persuaded to influence the fate of humans.
In Greek mythology, Zeus led a council of nine gods created to oversee humankind. These make up the power structure of the heavens and they occasionally meet to determine the fate of mankind.
Zeus, Aphrodite, Apollo, Demeter, Athena, Poseidon, Opheseus, Hermes and Hera. It is mentioned on several occasions in Greek mythology about wiping out the human race and starting again.
Is it a coincidence that cultures separated by thousands of miles all worship a group of nine gods?
Evidence may be found orbiting around the Earth.
In December 1998 during the assembly of the International space station, U.S astronauts spotted a massive unidentified object orbiting the Earth. They took photographs and posted them on the NASA website. The object is obviously not a meteor. It has a dark streamlined appearance, like a stealth aircraft with a downturned nose. Curiously NASA quickly deleted the photos claiming the object was space debris, probably a thermal blanket released from the space station. Other researchers were not convinced by that explanation. Why delete the photo if it was only space debris? Many have deduced the image is of ‘The Black Knight’ satellite, that made headlines three years before the first Earth satellite was launched’
In 1954, the San Francisco Examiner and The Aviation Week Journal published articles detailing what appeared to be artificial satellites orbiting the Earth.
Major Donald Keyhoe wrote a number of books on UFO’s. One of the things he wrote about was how a number of military insiders had told him that they were tracking one or two satellites in orbit of extraordinary size. No one knew what they were. This was long before Sputnik was launched. It gave rise to the idea the objects were extra-terrestrial. The U.S department of defence was allegedly said to have recruited astronomer Clyde W. Tombaugh in 1953 to help identify a strange object. His conclusions were never made public.
In the 1960’s, based upon its appearance on radar, scientists estimated that the mystery satellite weighed over ten tons. It was not only several times larger than anything world-wide space programs were capable of launching, but it also seemed to be travelling in an artificial orbit, circling the Earth from pole to pole. Weather satellites are put into this polar orbit to cover the whole of the planet. But this implies that it is an unnatural object.
There is a theory that the Black Knight is a satellite that has been monitoring the earth for thousands of years.
In the 1930’s HAM radio operators claim they were picking up signals from Mars. But was the Black Knight the real source?. One HAM radio operator was able to decipher this signal and create a matrix grid of individual dots that were either white or black. When he looked at this grid, he concluded that it was a map of the Epsilon
Bootis constellation, positioned where it would have been 13,000 years ago.
This would suggest the Black Knight travelled to earth 13,000 years ago to observe us.
There are references to an object found in the apocalypse of Barach. In the book, a section describes how Barach sees a magnificent bird that watched the happenings on the planet. The bird would extend its wings to gather the power of the sun to fly around. When exhausted, the bird would retract its wings. We have modern satellites that have a similar wing system with solar cells that can retract at will.
What if Barach witnessed something similar? He said himself that this is the guardian of the Earth.
Could there be some technology orbiting our planet that is not man-made?
In Washington DC 1957, Dr Frank Stranges had top clearance at the Pentagon. He was a federal marshal and chaplain. He was reportedly introduced to a Valiant Thor whose origins were claimed to be extra-terrestrial. Stranges later went public, with revelations in his book ‘Stranger At The Pentagon’.
He said in March 16th 1957 that Valiant Thor arrived in a scout ship which landed in Alexandria, Virginia in a field at eight in the morning. The police were first on the scene and they spoke to him. Thor asked to meet with President Eisenhower. The police took him to the Pentagon where he first met with the secretary of defence. After he was cleared, Thor was brought to the Oval office to meet with Eisenhower, Nixon and all of the joint chiefs. Stranges account was backed up by Harley Byrd, the nephew of Admiral Richard E Byrd who worked for the department of defence from 1957-1963. Byrd was assigned to project Blue Book, a secret military program that investigated UFO reports. He wrote the forward in Stranges book.
Here you have a high-ranking government official going on the record to add weight to this astonishing account.
Paul Hellyer states:
“They were having face to face meetings between U.S officials and people from other star systems, period. The best evidence I think exists is the case of Valiant Thor and his visit to the capital in the United states. He remained in the U.S for three years and did a multitude of things there communicating with various people and discussing the state of affairs in the U.S and the cosmos.”
According to an account, Valiant Thor had been sent to Earth by the high council to intervene on behalf of the intergalactic community. Supposedly, they were concerned as human nuclear capabilities had become an interstellar issue. The people of Earth were encouraged to take action themselves or face obliterating the planet in a nuclear war.
As outrageous as this may at first seem, photographs have surfaced of Thor meeting with top officials and no one has stepped forward to dispute them, or given the man in question an alternative identity. Even members of Eisenhower’s family, including his grand-daughter Laura, insist the story is true. She states:
“Valiant Thor supposedly showed up in 1957 and was brought to the president and vice president and they put him on VIP status for three years. Eisenhower really wanted to let humanity know about this proposal but the secretary of defence, the head of the CIA and the military joint chiefs of staff opposed it. And even though Eisenhower was intent on having a meeting with the general summit of the United Nations in order to present the details to them, that was shut down too.”
Paul Hellyer:
“Ultimately, Thor’s mission which was on behalf of the federation was not taken up. His mission was aborted. He didn’t accomplish what he came for because the decision was not made by the president himself, but was made by people like the secretary of defence and the CIA and this I think was a turning point for the United States and the world. We had an opportunity then to change our ways and we blew it, to put it bluntly.”
Was Valiant Thor a representative for the mysterious council of nine that is watching over the earth?
New York 1958. After his initial contact with ‘the nine’ Dr Puharich created the round table foundation at his private estate. Various psychics and mediums were invited to channel the self-proclaimed Egyptian deities for a group of influential observers.
Puharich carried on investigating psychic abilities. His idea from the beginning was to influence people who could ensure that the message of the nine could reach the top layers of society but who could be trusted with the secret.
Among these participants in the meetings was Warren McCulloch who was an early pioneer of cybernetics. Another was John J Hammond who was considered to be the student of Nikola Tesla, Henry A Wallace, Roosevelt’s secretary of agriculture and third term vice president was also a participant at these meetings.
Ultimately, they appeared to be deeply interested in how the human mind can connect with the extra-terrestrial mind.
Whatever Puharich was up to, he was certainly taken seriously by some very well connected people.
According to his writing assistant John Powell, a young Gene Roddenberry who would go on to mastermind the Star Trek series and films, was a regular at the sessions. Of all the famous guests, Roddenberry was one of the most gifted, taking notes and scoring information that he felt would eventually be used worldwide. Powell goes on to confirm that what Gene saw at the meetings was included in some of the episodes of Star Trek.
Roddenberry was allowed ask questions of the psychics who were communicating with the council of nine. He detailed information such as teleportation, the Federation and warp drive.
The popular series may not all be completely down to Roddenberry’s imagination but directly inspired by the mysterious council of nine.
Paul Hellyer:
“I don’t think there can be any doubt about the federation being real. This is something I have heard since I became interested in the subject of Ufology and I’ve talked to hundreds of people who have had contact, directly or indirectly with various individuals from one or more of the planets that are members of the federation.”
Step into the future, Star Trek’s missions are a peaceful one. Among the futuristic concepts revealed is the federation’s prime directive, the guiding principle that prohibits them interfering with the development of an evolving civilisation.
There could be a prime directive with Earth. The Extra-terrestrials are careful not to interfere with our development because of social unrest and upsetting the evolutionary progress of our planet.
Paul Hellyer:
“I think the prime directive is that they are not to interfere with us. We were given the power of choice and so they have to let us exercise that choice which the creator gave us. Even though we often choose very badly, that is our legacy and we are allowed to do that.”
So, is it possible that we are being guided and prepared for the future with subliminal messaging?
Hellyer concludes:
“This information is not secret in a way that the government won’t talk about it, but if you listen to the whistle blowers and the people that worked in the industry and you can see what is going on for yourself. There is a lot of information out there and it doesn’t take very long to get your hands on it.
The future of the world depends on us knowing what is going on not only in our own world, but others that are monitoring us and are attempting to influence us, for better or worse. And there are people here who know a lot about that.”
